There's A Monster in My Attic

A young father was out working in the garage with his boys.  He needed to go up into the attic, so he pulled down the ladder, but before going up told his small boy there was a monster in the attic.  The father proceeded up the attic stairs, while the young boy stood below pensively peering up the stairs.  

The father started working up above, and to elevate the fright level, called down, "The monster got me!" 

After a small hesitation and a little thought the young boy called up, "Dada? Monster got you?!" 

To which the father replied, "YES!"

And, the brave little boy called out, "I'll save you Dada!" and started up the attic stairs.
